'The Ultimate UFO Diskmag'
--------------------------
Running it from the Amiga Format CD:
------------------------------------
Make sure you have Crm.library in your Workbench:Libs/ path. I have written
an IconX script so it'll set up the tempory assignments neccesary for
running it from the Amiga Format CD. No changes to your startup-sequence or
user-startup will be made.
Installing to your hard disk:
-----------------------------
Simply drag the U.UFO drawer to your desired partiton and/or directory/ sub-
directory. Ensure you have Crm.library in your Workbench:Libs/ path. Simple!
I have written an IconX script to set up the necessary assigns for running
it from your hard disk. No changes to your startup-sequence or user-startup
will be made.
System Requirements:
--------------------
I would recommend at least 1 meg of memory to run the Ultimate UFO Diskmag.
(Better still 1 meg of CHIP ram. e.g. 500+/A600). Should run on all Amiga's
from A500 to A4000. Fully multitasking via Left Amiga and A keys. All the
CPU time is returned to the system when working in CLI or Workbench.
Extra files that are needed to run this disk magazine:
-----------------------------------------------------
DEVS:System-Configuration...........Prefs save file (for printer). *
DEVS:Printer.device.................Required to open printers. *
DEVS:Parallel.device................Port for Parallel printers. *
L:Ram-Handler.......................Enables RAM storage for config. *
L:Port-Handler......................*Important* required for Printer Port *.
C:Run...............................Required only for A500 1.3 compatability. *
LIBS:Req.Library....................Used to display Workbench messages.
LIBS:Diskfont.Library...............Handles the fonts used. *
LIBS:Crm.library....................Crunchmania library.
Note: Files marked with an asterisk '*', you should already have on your hard
disk, since these files come as standard with Amiga Workbench.
How would you like to contribute to this disk magazine?
-------------------------------------------------------
This newly released disk magazine I released quite a while ago, and only
Dungeon Master (editor of the Crypt) replied. Due to lack of support I have
not realsed any further issues, however with your contribution you can help
me (the editor) to release future issues: If you have any specific
talents, and are interested in contributing to this UFO-related disk
magazine, then I require musicians, graphics artists and aritcle writters.
Typical applicants, must be dedicated and have an interest in the subject.
Experience with Disk Magazine Creator V3 would be beneficial but not
essential. You can send examples of your work to the editor:
